Those white wings you're all hanging on the walls as trophies are paying off! Keep kicking the goodness out of those Elyos. Once the new year starts we'll start looking at setting up rifting squads to really collect on the Contribution Points!
Also please get involved on the forums. It's a great way to bring everyone closer on a personal and social level which as a result creates a more successful and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone. Additionally I will be looking to have a legion
meeting after the new year and will need feedback from members to find a good time and day.
December 14th a brave group of Aphotic members took off to put our name on the map and did so successfully! Thank you all who participated in this very successful capturing of our first artifacts in the lower abyss. I look forward to our first fortress siege with all our members. Tons of fun and profitable to boot as we're now only 10k CP from our current goal of legion level 3 and should reach it tommorrow. Congratulations all, looking forward to the first fortress siege!

Aphotic was officially created in game on Nov. 18, '09 at approx. 4:40am. Founded by Ozamet, Pisky, Kayson and Finelis. The 4 of us have been gaming together for roughly 1 year on the game, World of WarCraft where we raided with several other friends who have decided not to follow us to Aion. During our raid time in World of WarCraft we participated in a successful kill for all raid content up to and including the most recent Ulduar & ToC. We raided competitively with the other guilds on our server, always racing to get the hard mode kills first and take home the pride. We want to bring this same dedication to Aion. While we all enjoyed WoW previously, it is now time to move on to something brand new. Our goals for Aion include being able to successfully siege & defend fortresses on a regular basis so that our members can earn the most medals possible. Recruitment will always be kept to a balance in order to maximize both PvP and PvE efficiency. While we are interested in the competitive PvP in Aion we are also concerned with being able to properly farm the PvE instances and World Bosses available at the higher levels. Especially when considering the low drop rate of the rare Fabled quality items.
Our hopes for the future of the Legion is to make a solid name for ourselves among the other Legions of Israphel. Each one of the founding core members of Aphotic are used to a very personalized atmosphere within a guild. We're looking to maintain that personal atmosphere with future members and as such intend to grow at a rate that will both increase our opportunities to participate in sieges and dungeons as well as create new friendships among our new members. It is a great feeling to succeed at in game events but a much greater feeling to do so with people you've come to enjoy gaming with. At the same time we all have lives that take priority on our attention, thus we understand when such things prevent in-game participation. We beleive this to be a large part of the atmosphere we intend to maintain. It is our hope that this dedication and the background of friendship that keeps us gaming together will impact your decision to consider Aphotic as a stable and desirable Legion of choice.
